Frequently Asked Questions

Is this wedding really happening?

Yes, this wedding IS happening! :) We can’t wait to celebrate with you all on January 30th.

What do I wear?

Black tie attire is encouraged. For examples of what to wear, please click here.

What social distancing and cleanliness measures will be in place at the wedding?

St. Patrick Catholic Church will have pews marked for social distancing and requires all attendees to wear a mask during the mass.

The EPIC Hotel has many policies and guidelines in place for the safety of our guests. This includes dinner tables set at least 6 to 9 feet apart, fewer guests seated at each table, all servers and bartenders wearing masks and gloves, and hors d’oeuvres served individually from a glass encasing during cocktail hour.

To see how the EPIC Hotel is currently handling cleanliness, please see this web page and this video.

Should I wear a mask?

At the church, masks are required during the ceremony.

At the reception, masks are required when entering the venue. Once in the ballroom, we’ll leave wearing a mask at your discretion. There will probably be guests without masks - if this is unsettling, we totally understand if you choose not to attend.

Where do I park at St. Patrick’s Church?

At St. Patrick’s Church, we recommend free parking:

  • In the lot adjacent to the parish office, between Alton Road and Garden Avenue

  • On Garden Avenue, between the parish office and the church

Here’s a Google Map of the above suggested parking spaces. Outside of our recommendations, please be aware of street parking signs.

Where do I park at the EPIC Hotel?

Parking at the EPIC is a bit pricey, so we recommend carpooling and/or grabbing an Uber/Lyft there. Otherwise, valet is offered:

  • For our guests just attending the reception at the EPIC - valet parking is $16 per car for the day (excluding overnight)

  • For our guests staying at the EPIC - overnight parking is $44/night (this includes coming in and out)

Do I have to stay at the EPIC Hotel?

Although we recommend staying with us at the EPIC to be near the festivities (and for optimal Instagram views of Downtown Miami and Brickell), Airbnb, Vrbo, and other hotels in the area are all great options as well.

What will the weather be like in Miami?
